Special Fees Timeline
- January 22, 1-3--Appropriations Committee Office Hours for Special Fees Groups
- February 1, 7-9--Special Fees Info Session (Old Union Room 215)
- February 5, 12-5--Appropriations Committee Office Hours for Special Fees Groups
- February 6, 5:00--Online declarations of intent and petitioning opens.
- February 21, 5:00--Finalized Budget information for special fees groups due to elections commission, financial manager, and appropriations committee. Budgets cannot be modified after this date.
- March 9, 5:00--Declarations of Intent, Petitions (with completed signatures), and all information needed to appear on the ballot and elections handbook are due to the elections commission (Drop off in ASSU Offices)
- March 21, 5:00--Deadline for request for petition reverification
- March 21, 5:00--Special Fees, advisory initiatives, and ballot measures must have performed proper procedures to appear on the ballot. (These groups must have received the appropriate legislative approval to appear on the ballot)
- April 3, 5:00--Hard deadline for modifying statements that will appear in the elections handbook
- April 12, 12:01AM--Polls Open
- April 13, 11:59 PM--Polls Close
- April 14, 5:00--Elections Results party
Timeline for Undergraduate Senate, Graduate Student Council, ASSU Executive, and Ballot Initiatives
- February 6, 5:00--Online declarations of intent and petitioning opens.
- February 15, 7-9--Elections Info Session for Undergraduate Senate, Graduate Student Council, Ballot Initiatives, and Class President (Old Union Room 215)
- March 9, 5:00--Declarations of Intent, Petitions (with completed signatures), and all information needed to appear on the ballot and elections handbook are due to the elections commission (Drop off in ASSU Offices)
- March 9, 5:00--Undergraduate Senate public financing application due
- March 21, 5:00--Deadline for request for petition reverification
- March 21, 5:00--Special Fees, advisory initiatives, and ballot measures must have performed proper procedures to appear on the ballot. (These groups must have received the appropriate legislative approval to appear on the ballot)
- April 3, 5:00--Hard deadline for modifying statements that will appear in the elections handbook
- April 9, 5:00--Undergraduate Senate and Executive candidates receiving public financing must submit their projected budgets by this time to the elections commission.
- April 11, 11:00 AM--Deadline for Declaration of Withdrawal
- April 12, 12:01AM--Polls Open
- April 13, 11:59 PM--Polls Close
- April 13, 5:00--Deadline for Undergraduate Senate and Executive candidates receiving public financing to submit all receipts and declare all campaign donations and expenditures to the elections commission
- April 14, 5:00--Elections Results party
All students are invited to attend the reports of the ASSU Elections Commission at the Undergraduate Senate (Tuesdays 7:00pm, Nitery) and Graduate Student Council (Wednesdays 6:00pm, GCC Nairobi Room). Transcripts of the meetings are available on the legislative bodies' Web sites.
